Basecoated the flatbed of another of my Ork Trukks. This time with Humbrol Dark Brown.
This flatbed is kept simple, unlike my other Trukk. The flatbed was kept simple, no sides, no rollbars and no ramps. I do quite like how this looks, fast and speedy.

I decided to use a Humbrol Dark Green spray on the flatbed of my Ork Trukk.
Having sprayed the flatbed I started to weather it and gave it a wash of Devlan Mud.

The flatbed of my Ork Halftrakk was sprayed with a Humbrol brown paint. I then gave it a wash of Devlan Mud. Not sure if I like using this wash over the usual brown ink and paint wash I usually use. I usually use a wash consisting of brown ink, paint and water.
I added some more washes to the body of the Half Trakk using Devlan Brown and Badab Black.
Next stage will be a drybrush.

I added the front “bumper” and frontal armour to the chassis. The chassis was then given a drybrush with Boltgun Metal.
Quite pleased with the result so far.
What I do like about this model is how it turn the Trukk into something a bit heavier and more robust.

I decided that I would before any black undercoating, I would give my Stompa a light white undercoat. This would then enable the black to adhere properly.
Before the black undercoat I gave both arms a white undercoat.
The head was then given a light white undercoat.
The rokkits were also given a light white undercoat.
As was the Shoota Turret.
The main body was also given a light white undercoat.
In preparation for undercoating the Stompa, for the main body I masked off certain areas so that I can glue them together.

One of the advantages of getting the Forge World Half Trakk was getting extra wheels for use on another Trukk model.
As you can see from this chassis I have used one type of wheel, the “squarer” sort, for the rear wheels.
After constructing the chassis I gave it a black undercoat.

Having undercoated and basecoated the Battlewagon, l drybrushed the “black” undercoated areas with Tin Bitz.
I also drybrushed the tracks, finishing off with a drybrush of Boltgun Metal.

I did buy the Ork Battlewagon Upgrade Pack and decided to add the Deff Rolla to my Ork Battlewagon. Having given it a black undercoat, I drybrushed it with Tin Bitz.
The next stage was then to drybrush with Boltgun Metal.
