Ork Tankbustas

Tankbustas live for the really big kill. Ork Boyz who have experienced the undeniable thrill of scoring a direct hit upon an enemy tank and seeing the vehicle explode in flames.

This is the metal you get in the box.

I do recall buying some more Bomb Squigs, but not sure where they are…

I will start off with a black undercoat and then do all the metallic bitz with a drybrush of tin bitz and chainmail. Skin tones are done in the same manner as my other Orks.

Reinforcements

I have recently purchased a pack of Ork Tankbustas.

Tankbustas live for the really big kill. Ork Boyz who have experienced the undeniable thrill of scoring a direct hit upon an enemy tank and seeing the vehicle explode in flames.

This box set contains five Tankbustas and two Bomb-squigs.

Think I might need to get some more bomb-squigs as Simon has so many tanks now.

Using the benefit of the +1 to Armour Penetration, these (brave or foolish) Tankbustaz Boyz attempt to destroy an Imperial Hellhound and Demolisher.

TankBustaz

Here are two of my Ork Tankbustaz

They are simple conversions, using the plastic Ork Boyz and then adding metal grenades from the Stormboyz metal extraz sprue.

They received a black undercoat followed by a drybrush of Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal before their skin was given a base coat of Snot Green.

Next stage is to highlight the skin with Goblin Green.

Tankbustas

I already have the metal models and they are painted and finished.

Using components from the Stormboyz metal bitz I am converting some plastic Ork models into Tankbustas.

Tankbustas

The middle model has an Orc Warrior shield arm, which I have drilled a hole through the fist. I then cut one of the Stormboyz grenades in half before putting the two halves through the hole and sticking them with superglue.

I start off with a black undercoat and then do all the metallic bitz with a drybrush of tin bitz and chainmail.

This unit will also have an Ork with a converted Rokkit Launcha.
