Having worked a lot of my Grey Knights Land Speeder, one of the key components is the replacement crew. I could have used the included plastic Space Marine crew, but in the end I used some metal Grey Knights models. I started with a black basecoat and then gave the armour a basecoat of Boltgun Metal. This was followed with the gold metal parts been given a base coat of Brazen Brass.

I have undercoated my Mark IIb Land Raider with a black undercoat.
This is to be a Grey Knights Land Raider, though I may use it now and again as an Inquisitor transport. As you can see from this shot though, the undercoat didn’t really cover the front, so I might need to give it another coat.
Next stage will be the basecoat.

If you have looked at my Grey Knights Landspeeder you will realise that I am attempting to paint a Grey Knights force which goes beyond the listings in the DaemonHunters Codex. What I am trying to do is to create a Grey Knights force (using the Space Marine Codex) and then using a DaemonHunters force as allies.
Having constructed my Razorback and added Grey Knights iconography I gave the model a black undercoat.
The next stage will be adding the basecoat.

For my (very slow) grey Knights army I am using a variety of Space Marine models for the core troops. These include Space Marine Veterans and Dark Angels.
Having got a Dark Angels box set, I made them up and gave the models a black undercoat.
So they are not like the metal Grey Knights, but Grey Knights use a variety of old equipment, now and again I suspect they may use slightly newer kit hence being able to use the Dark Angels sprues.

After quite a long time I have finally finished the first of my Grey Knights.
These were started a few years ago and I never really got around to spending huge amounts of time on them, as other projects always seemed to take over.
I am quite pleased with them and I am using them as the basis for my other Grey Knights.
I am using desert basing to fit in with my desert terrain.
You can see how I painted these Grey Knights in the full workbench feature on them.

Well with Christmas now over and the dust settling I can now take a look at my booty.
Simon very nice of him got me a couple of Grey Knight Terminators which will go nicely with my Librarian.
As well as those two, from the in-laws I got some Tallarn Imperial Guard (to use as I have already done as Inquisitorial Storm Troopers) and Space Marine Veterans (which will be used as the blister pack I got as Grey Knights).
My wife (thank you) got me the Masters of the Chapter boxed set, alas (or luckily) she actually got me two boxes… accidently. So one of those will be going back to be swapped, probably for some of the new Ork models.
No Forge World models, as their shipping delays put people off.
In all a very nice haul.
