hough I have already painted some of the Epic Forgeworld Ork Gunwagons, I am currently painting some more.
They started with a white undercoat and then I sprayed the bottom with black paint to seal in the resin.
These are very detailed models and well worth getting and very good value (compared to the metal models from GW) at £5 for three.
I also like the weapons on them and it is worth getting them I think just to get the guns for conversions.
Did the tyres on my Epic Bowelburnaz.
With some new Epic Skorchaz I am currently painting I am going to follow a scheme I have used on some Wartrakk conversions.
Starting with a white undercoat I have painted the metal parts in black paint.
Once this is finished I will drybrush with Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal. The rest of the model will be painted in a shade of brown with each model having their own shade. This will then be washed with an ink and paint wash before detailing is added.
My current Epic Skorchaz look like this which was based on an all over black undercoat.
My intention is to follow a scheme similar to these Wartrakk conversions.
I have painted the base coat on my Lunburstaz.
They are going to be in the same paint scheme as my more desert models.
I really like this model, the detail on the casting is excellent and in some ways better than current models.
Note the paint is still a little wet in that picture.

The flyer was taken from the same angle and light, its flying base was removed and then a shadow added.
The engines were blurred and a few heat blurrings were also added.
These VTOL aircraft have found themselves in a storm and are looking for a place to land.

Land Raiders on patrol on a dark and stormy night. There are original plastic Land Raiders and a Snapdragon 6mm Bunker.
The first attempt was a little different (more harsh lines between the bunker and the sky).
The final version used a feathered edge.
So which one do you prefer?
