Simon’s BaneBlade is very BIG! He’s done a really nice job on it and it looks very impressive on the battlefield.

I am continuing to work on my Ork Aircraft Traktor and have undercoated the launch trolley with a black undercoat.
The Ork Fighter Bommer sits on this trolley.
Simon’s Imperial Guard Infantry form a line awaiting the advancing Orks!
My Ork Burna Boyz advance through the Ash Wastes from a recent game.
They are traversing over one of the new plastic craters (unpainted).
The new Ork Codex changed the Burna Boyz rules quite a bit. One change I did find useful was the ability to have some Meks on board. And as Meks can try and fix broken Ork vehicles, my Ork Burna Boyz are now more like a team whose main job is to fix Ork vehicles on the battlefield.
In the past few games they have done a good job and fixed a couple of vehicles including my Gunwagon.
This was a beautiful Warhammer Fantasy demonstration games which was displayed at GamesDay 2008 in the UK.
Not sure of the forces involved, in the main because I was looking at the scenery.
There are various Games Workshop plastic kits on the table, such as the Manor House here.
Resin buildings from other maufacturers were also present, including this market place.
And this house.
Very nicely painted and really works well together, made for an impressive table for gaming.
Finally pictures of the plastic Stompa have surfaced on the Games Workshop website, so it’s official now!
There is and will be a plastic Ork Stompa.
Very nice it looks too.
I do quite like it and I think I will be getting one.
What about you?
My Forge World Ork Gunwagon full of Orks advancing through the ash wastes.
Full workbench feature on my Ork Gunwagon.
More pictures of Ork Gunwagons.
I have undercoated my Warhammer Chapel.
As you can see the detail can still be seen through the black undercoat.
Next stage will be adding the basecoat.
Though designed for Warhammer Fantasy, I will be using this in the main for Warhammer 40,000.
See the full workbench feature on the Warhammer Chapel.
And the new Doctor Who is…
Well…
Matt Smith.
Who?
Exactly.
The eleventh Doctor has been named, and it will be played by 26 year old Matt Smith, pretty much an unknown actor.
Not sure about this. He is younger than Peter Davison, but only by a couple of years.
Well. we’re going to have to wait now until Spring 2010 to see how it works out (and work out it might).
