This marvellous Mekboy Junka conversion was part of the Ork Shanty Town display that Forge World had at GamesDay 2010.
It has an Ork Looted Rhino at the heart of the conversion.
With a Deff Rolla at the front.
The Imperial Moisture Condensor as a fuel tank was an inspired move. This is what it looks like as a condensor!

I like using Meks in my games of Warhammer 40k, as they are able to “fix” damaged Ork vehicles. This unit is used less for combat, but act more as mechanics fixing all the stuff that got immobilised or damaged by the Imperial Guard.

The new Ork Codex changed the Burna Boyz rules quite a bit. One change I did find useful was the ability to have some Meks on board. And as Meks can try and fix broken Ork vehicles, my Ork Burna Boyz are now more like a team whose main job is to fix Ork vehicles on the battlefield.
In the past few games they have done a good job and fixed a couple of vehicles including my Gunwagon.

GW have published a picture of the Ork Mek with Big Shoota.

As mentioned back in May Games Workshop (as part of Apocalypse) will be releasing an Ork Mek with a Supa-Shoota.
I have now found a picture of this new Ork which looks very menacing.
I think I will have to get one (and not two as I did with the Ork Kommando with Burna).
According to Dakka Dakka Games Workshop will release sometime this year, probably for the Apocalypse expansion a new Ork Mek with Supershoota.

I quite like the way that GW sometimes release models even though they are not releasing a codex or army. Reminds me of GW from yesteryear.
