I do like these Epic miniatures and though they were fiddly to put together (these are the Epic40K era miniatures) compared to the current Epic Armageddon miniatures I like the flexibility that the multi-part miniatures allowed.

This Epic model is one of the more difficult models to put together with four separate rockets which really don’t want to stay on their firing rails.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I now when giving my models a wash, add paint to the ink which removes the gloss you can see in the photograph.
In White Dwarf 332 (which came out today) the big news for me was the announcement of the new plastic Imperial Guard Super Heavy Baneblade Tank.
This has been rumoured for years, but here it is in the pages of White Dwarf.

This is the Forgeworld model from Simon’s collection, emplaced in a recent game. I think it may have done better less out in the open and in the ruins of an Imperial city as it was it was not only isolated, but quite easy for my Orks to avoid.
