New Forge World Ork Stuff – Flakwagon
It has been rumoured and now we have a picture of the Ork Flakk Wagon or Flakwagon from Forge World.

It is based on the plastic Trukk model, I did think it may be based on the (now rather old) Forge World Gunwagon as the Forge World Epic Flakwagons are.
Looks very Orky. Looks like the back and the guns are resin, whilst the front is still plastic.
A trio of Forge World Ork Nob Bikers
I am expecting to see the Ork Nob Bikers tomorrow, hey I may even buy them I thought!
Hmmm
Then I saw this.

Now I am thinking, don’t like the other two.
So maybe not!
GamesDay 2008 Photographs
I am off to GamesDay 2008 in Birmingham tomorrow. I am expecting (as per usual) to take a load of photographs. Not sure if I will be spending any money, but possibly…
Now if everything works, you should see photographs from GamesDay 2008 appear on this blog (tomorrow) as and when I take them using the wonders of modern internet and telephone technology.
Watch and see….
Forge World Ork Nob Bikers
Only yesterday on my blog I said:
Now if we could see more innovative Ork stuff and slightly less Imperial Guard I think I would be happier!
Well I suspect that Forge World may have been reading!!!
In their latest newsletter before GamesDay 2008 they have provided a sneak peek of some new Ork Nob bikers which will be available soon and they may even have a few at the show itself!
Looking very nice.

Though at three times the price of the plastic bikers (they are £52 for three), I am thinking slightly over-priced, or are they value for money?
Also am I the only one who doesn’t like the new plastic bike bases?
Hades Breaching Drill now available on pre-order
When you have a fortified position which you absolutely, resolutely need to get through, then choose the Hades Breaching Drill.
It does what it says on the tin!
The excellent new Death Korps of Krieg Hades Breaching Drill is now available to pre-order from Forge World. A few will be available on GamesDay 2008 in Birmingham and at only £26 I suspect they will go fast, very fast…
Here are a couple of photos to remind you what it’s like.

Just the thing to take out that fortified Ork stronghold that I have (not) been building.

Really nice model, nice to see something different. Now if we could see more innovative Ork stuff and slightly less Imperial Guard I think I would be happier!
Funky Ork Trukk
George Dellapina’s funky Speed Freeks Ork army on display at Bristol Conflict 2004 included some very nice converted trukks.

He used some toy vehicles as the basis.
See more of George’s funky Ork army.
World War One Train
One of the games I enjoyed a lot at GamesDay 2007 was Aly Morrison and Dave Andrews’ excellent World War One demonstration game.
There was some fantastic scenery such as this train and track.
Excellent stuff.
You can see many more pictures of the game on my website.
Witchhunter Familiar – Inquisitorial Henchmen
I am adding some Henchmen to my Inquistorial force. I am not quite sure what a Familiar is and what they do for the Witch Hunter Inquisitor, but it is an interesting model nonetheless.
Having flocked the base with Games Workshop modelling sand, the model was given a white undercoat.
See full workbench feature on the Familiar.
