Inquisitorial Henchmen

Across my workbench (or in storage) I have quite a few Inquisitorial Henchmen.

Witch Hunters are grim, cold individuals who have dedicated their life to the eradication of corruption wherever it may be. Most witch hunters are the state-issued Templars of the Cult of Sigmar. However, there are a wide variety of others, from the Colleges’ Magisters Vigilant to local mercenaries hired out to a nobleman’s service. What they all have in common however is their dedication and zeal against all things tainted and unpure.

All of them need a lot of work.

Witchhunter Acolyte – Inquisitorial Henchmen

I am adding some Henchmen to my Inquistorial force. One of them is a trainee inquisitor, a Witchhunter Acolyte. The Acolyte looks like an interesting model to paint, what with the book and the big flame thingy.

Having flocked the base with Games Workshop modelling sand, the model was given a white undercoat. The model was given a basecoat of Vomit Brown.

Next stage was to give the equipment a base coat of Chaos Black.

Inquisitorial Acolyte

As part of my Daemonhunters’ army I have a retuine for my Daemonhunter Inquisitor including an Acolyte, a trainee Inquisitor.

Having painted the parchment on the figure, I added the writing. I have also highlighted the purple cloak with Warlock Purple paint.

Personally I am not too happy with the text writing so I may start over and try again.

Inquisitor Acolyte – more progress

My Daemonhunters Inquisitor is going to have an entourage, one of whom will be an Inquisitor Acolyte. I started this model sometime ago, but have (as with all my Daemonhunters models) been revisting them in mind to get them finished.

At this stage I had done some work.

Inquisitor Acolyte

I painted the parchment and books with Bleached Bone and highlighted with Skull White.

I did start to highlight the cloak, but this didn’t work out too well so the paint was quickly removed, it looked too pink!
