Sky-hunters are feared strike units, mounted atop sophisticated and powerful jetbikes.

Imperial Fists Sky-Hunter Jetbikes

These high-speed craft are more akin to compact aircraft than ground bikes – propelled across the battlefield by jet engines with grav-impellor assistance, they can maintain great speeds for extended periods of low-altitude flight.

The jetbike’s lift-strength is enough to carry an armoured Space Marine and his wargear along with a variety of heavy weapons mounts and stocks of ammunition, giving the Sky-hunters access to extremely potent, highly mobile firepower.

The Legion Arquitor is a heavy artillery platform designed to operate at the forefront of a Legiones Astartes advance. Equipped with a reinforced chassis and brutal short range firepower, it is called upon to break the most stubborn of fortifications or to annihilate massed enemy infantry and armour.

The morbus bombard launches shells loaded with deadly phosphex, a toxic and corrosive incendiary compound that eats through flesh and metal alike, tainting the very ground and air with alchemical fire.

Mastodon Heavy Assault Transport

The Mastodon was one of the heaviest assault transports in the arsenal of the Legiones Astartes during the Great Crusade, and is still found in the armouries of the Space Marine Chapters of the 41st Millenium.

Its cavernous assault bay, capable of housing almost half a Company, is protected both by thick layers of ceramite armour as well as crackling void shields.

It also mounts a fearsome siege melta array, allowing it to breach even the most formidable defences with ease, as well as an array of secondary weaponry intended to defend the vehicle as it approaches its target.

Unleashed only against the most fearsome of enemy redoubts, there are few obstacles that can stay the wrath of this relic of the Imperium’s bloody birth.

This formidable war machine is a symbol of the Legiones Astartes’ relentless pursuit of dominance, a testament to their unwavering loyalty to the Emperor and their unwavering dedication to the cause of the Imperium. Then again, it is also a symbol of those Legions which betrayed the emperor.

Imperial Fists Fellblade Super Heavy Tank

The Fellblade is based  upon the same STC data as the Baneblade super-heavy tank, which is extensively used by the Imperial Guard. The Fellblade is a more advanced variant that first saw widespread service with the Legiones Astartes in the last decades of the Great Crusade.

Imperial Fists Fellblade Super Heavy Tank

It is most noted for its use of Mechanicum atomantic arc-reactor technology and a reinforced metaplas alloy chassis superior with an advanced accelerator cannon as its primary armament. These systems are Dark Age technologies rediscovered and restored to humanity shortly before the nightmare of the Great Heresy.

Javelin Attack Speeder

Javelin attack speeders are both rare and highly valued, utilising a range of antigrav impellor technologies so esoteric that some amongst the Mechanicum regard them with overt distrust.

Emperor’s Children Javelin Attack Speeder

Regardless of their technical complexity, these hovering vehicles are fast, highly manoeuvrable, have an extended operational range and – perhaps most importantly – can carry a heavy payload of weapon systems, qualities which keep them in high demand throughout the Legiones Astartes.

Mûmak

The armies of Harad often employ Mûmakil, massive war-beasts trained by the Mahud, to trample their enemies under colossal hooves.

A Mûmak is nigh unstoppable once is begins its charge, tossing aside enemies like broken dolls.

A Mûmak can break through an enemy line while Haradrim warriors rain deadly arrows from atop the howdah on its mighty back.

The Falchion Super-Heavy Tank Destroyer is a formidable piece of war machinery employed by the Legiones Astartes in the world of the Horus Heresy.

This behemoth of a vehicle is designed to obliterate enemy tanks and fortifications with its devastating firepower. The Falchion is based on the same Standard Template Construct pattern as Baneblade super-heavy tanks, equipped with advanced weapon and armour systems befitting the Legiones Astartes.

Rohan Stronghold

Under the orders of Saruman, the forces of Isengard have begun their assault on the Kingdom of Rohan. Bands of ruthless Uruk-hai and vengeful Dunlendings have not just come to raid villages and destroy farms, but also to eliminate the people of Rohan. With the Westfold in flames, the Legion of the White Hand turn their attentions to the strongholds of Rohan. Yet these strongholds are well defended and the Rohirrim inside are ready to face overwhelming odds and defend their walls against the onslaught of Uruk-hai and Evil Men that now bear down upon them.

War has come to Rohan…

Typhon Heavy Siege Tank

Sons of Horus Typhon Heavy Siege Tank

Named for the ‘Great Beast’ of Ancient Terran myth, the immense Typhon Heavy Siege Tank was developed by the Mechanicum alongside the Spartan, with which it shares a basic chassis design.

World Eaters Typhon Heavy Siege Tank

The Typhon’s primary armament is the massive Dreadhammer cannon, and was created in response to a request from the Primarch Peturabo, master of the Iron Warriors. He demanded a Legiones Astartes war engine that could rival the great batteries of the Imperial Crusade Army in firepower, but manoeuvre and deploy at the speed of a Space Marine force.

Although the Typhon fell out of use in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy, its design and technology have influenced the development of later Imperial vehicles. The Typhon’s legacy can be seen in the heavy tanks and siege weapons used by the Adeptus Mechanicus and other Imperial factions.

I have the plastic kit version of the Typhon Heavy Siege Tank on my workbench.
