Having undercoated the Ork Bommerz with white paint, the next stage is to paint the metal bitz with black paint.

Imperial Guard Salamander
Trukk and Wartrakk
Probably down to the flash and camera, this picture of my Ork Trukk and Wartrakk are darker than they really are.
They do have a black undercoat, but the drybrushing seems to be washed out by the flash. They look partially painted rather than finished…
I suppose I could drybrush the wheels with mud and stuff.

Space Marine Characters released this month…
The Epic Armageddon metal Space Marine characters are released this month.
This is a picture I took at UK GamesDay 2004.
Here are the Space Marine Characters.
It’s a pity that they are based so much on the plastic characters, new designs would have been nice, as they have done with the bikes.
A pity you can’t get the bikes separately, and I am unsure how many bikes you get in the “random” blister.
The Ork characters look interesting, but again most are re-casts of the plastic characters!
Concept Sketches Ork Landa
Concept Sketches Ork Landa from the Fanatic Stand at UK GamesDay 2004.
This is the original concept sketch of the new Epic Ork Landa.
if you look closely you will see that even with the sketch are the words…
“size about the same as the Thunderhawk”.
I wish they had thought differently and done a much bigger model, in my minds the finished metal casting is on the small side.
I do wonder if Forgeworld will do something…
Ork Flyer
Orks with Twin Big Shootas
Forgeworld weapon systems…
I have started putting together my Orks with Forgeworld Twin Big Shootas.
They are very nice resin pieces.
Though they are designed as weapon systems for Forgeworld vehicles, it would be nice if they also allowed you to use them as standalone heavy weapons by including a ground mount.
I may scratchbuild some ground mounts allowing my Orks to have additional heavy weapons on the ground rather than just attached to the vehicles.
What do you mean it is not in the Codex…. it doesn’t matter.
Ork Gargant Weapon
Ork Gargant Weapon, actually a brown coal mining machine…
I use to often look at my Epic ork miniatures and wonder if they could exist for real or was real-world physics going to get in the way of the fantasy of the game.
Then I saw this on the web…
It is a brown coal mining machine, but the resemblance to the buzzsaw of an Ork Gargant (or even Imperial Titan) is rather striking.
it just shows that one day there could be huge fighting machines…
Orks in Mega-Armour fighting in the ruins of an Imperial city…
These are my two Orks in Mega-Armour.
They are quite nasty and dangerous individuals and have caused quite a few headaches for my opponent.
You can see more pictures of my Orks and pictures from various shows in the Orks Gallery on my website.
