The Repulsor is an Imperial anti-gravitic main battle tank intended to provide armoured support for the Primaris Space Marines of many different Chapters.

Gaz-66 2 ton GS Truck
Russian 1960s-period 4×4 2000kg general service truck, cab seating for driver and 1 passenger, powered by 8-cylinder Vee petrol engine. This one was in the Land Warfare Exhibit at The Imperial War Museum in Duxford.

Cruiser, Mk I (A9)
The Tank, Cruiser, Mk I (A9) was a British cruiser tank of the interwar period. It was the first cruiser tank: a fast tank designed to bypass the main enemy lines and engage the enemy’s lines of communication, along with enemy tanks.
Designed by Sir John Carden of Vickers-Armstrongs the prototype of this tank appeared in 1936. It was designed originally as a Medium Tank with the official designation A9 but was described as a Cruiser Tank when it entered production in 1937. In addition to light tanks for reconnaissance the idea was to build infantry tanks for infantry support and cruisers to fulfil the cavalry role. A cruiser tank was therefore intended to be fast and lightly armoured.
Rogue Trader Ork Warbuggy
I recently found the original photograph of my Rogue Trader Ork Warbuggy, so I decided to rescan them as I had only low-res ones on the site.
I had added a jerry can and a (small) oil drum as well. My hazard striped were done by hand (can you tell?).
This was an all metal kit, which made not just the kit rather heavy and challenging to not just to glue together, but to stay together as well.
As for the components, you got the four wheels, the chassis, a rear axle, the engine (with mudguards) a choice of weapons as well as a choice of three drivers and gunners. I did like the variety of crew and guns.
When this was released, Citadel also did a small version, which was awful.
I am not surprised that it didn’t sell, one it didn’t look as cool as the large version and the larger version was only 45p more.
Avro Lincoln
The Avro Type 694 Lincoln is a British four-engined heavy bomber, which first flew on 9 June 1944. Developed from the Avro Lancaster, the first Lincoln variants were initially known as the Lancaster IV and V; these were renamed Lincoln I and II. It was the last piston-engined bomber operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF).
This Avro Lincoln was on display at RAF Cosford.
Bullgryns
The abhumans known as Bullgryns are a formidable sight to behold. Clad in custom-made carapace armour made from the discarded tracks of a Leman Russ, they carry crude assault weaponry that capitalises on their stature and resilience.
These were on display at Warhammer World.
Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Promo
I really quite enjoyed the first two seasons of Star Trek Discovery so I am looking forward to season 3, even if it is set 930 years in the future…
So there are Trills in the promo, as well as Andorians. So much to see and so much to anticipate.
Of course Covid-19 has delayed production, but I think it might be worth the wait. It should be on Netflix in the UK from the 16th October.
Astra Militarum Super Heavy Tanks
In the display cabinets at Warhammer World there are some really nice models of the Astra Militarum Super Heavy Tanks.
A single super-heavy tank is a dominant presence in an Astra Militarum battle line. As it ploughs inexorably forward it lays down a wide path of destruction. Enemy ranks shatter long before it reaches their position, and those unlucky few who are able to maintain their defensive formations are ground to paste under the slab-like plates of its tracks.
The Imperial Shadowsword Super Heavy Tank is the sister tank of the more common Baneblade super-heavy tank of the Astra Militarum.
The Shadowsword is a nearly identical super-heavy tank to the Baneblade with the exception of its armament and battlefield role as a Titan-killer. Armed with a massive forward-firing gun known as a Volcano Cannon the Shadowsword’s primary focus during combat is the destruction of enemy Titans.
The Banesword is designed for use in siege and urban warfare, its quake cannon able to pulverise enemy armour and reduce fortifications to rubble with equal impunity. The Banesword is armed with a fearsome array of weapons – none more so than the mighty quake cannon on its turret. It can also be equipped with a pair of sponsons sporting a twin heavy bolter or twin heavy flamer, each capped by a lascannon turret!
The Hellhammer is a super-heavy tank of the Astra Militarum that is a variant of the infamous Baneblade tank.
The Hellhammer replaces the rocket-assisted Mega Battle Cannon or Baneblade Cannon of the Baneblade with a Hellhammer Cannon, a variation of the Battle Cannon commonly found on the Leman Russ main battle tank. It has a shorter barrel with special heavy-gauge suppressors built into it that allows it to fire extremely high-calibre shells without ripping itself apart. These shells are designed to destroy armour and emplacements with an unstable sub-atomic charge.
The Doomhammer is armed with a fearsome array of weapons – none more so than the mighty magma cannon on its turret. It can also be equipped with a pair of sponsons sporting a twin heavy bolter or twin heavy flamer, each capped by a lascannon turret!
The magma cannon of the Doomhammer is a smaller version of the volcano cannon, though its compact size allows for troop transport space within the hull.

Rynn’s World
Inspired by the artwork from the original Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader rulebook, this diorama shows the Crimson Fists making a heroic last stand against hordes of Orks.
That artwork from the rulebook was always to me quite inspiring.

Imperial Guard Parade
This incredible Imperial Guard Parade was on display at Warhammer World. You can see Leman Russ tanks in front and coming up behind are super heavy tanks like the Baneblade and the Shadowsword.
The Astra Militarum, also known as the Imperial Guard, is the largest coherent fighting force in the galaxy. They serve as the Imperium of Man’s primary combat force and first line of defence from the myriad threats which threaten the existence of the human race in the late 41st Millennium.
It is comprised of countless billions of men and women, hundreds of thousands of different regiments, supported by a vast array of light and heavy armoured vehicles that provide the Guard’s primary offensive punch.
In the display there were also Sentinel walkers, infantry and Chimera APCs as well.
Watching the whole thing was Imperial officials and a solitary Imperial Fists Rhino was in there too.
