An Imperial Manticore prepares to fire a salvo of its deadly rockets on enemy positions in the heart of a ruined Imperial city.
Grey Knights Purity Seals
I have been painting the purity seals on my Grey Knights.
I used a light brown foundation paint for the paper of the seals and the red for the wax and then highlighted with normal Citadel colour.
I also took the opportunity to add some “burn” weathering to the flamer.
I have also been tidying up the armour connectors and painting them in Chaos Black over the drybrushed Boltgun Metal in order to make the armour look a little smarter and neater.
Ork Stompaz
Are these new kits or scratchbuilds?
In the newest (US) White Dwarf is the following photograph.
There is a lot of debate online on whether these are scratchbuilds or a future GW plastic kit.
Personally I am almost 100% sure that these are scratchbuilds. If these were plastic kits, then why wouldn’t GW make more of them (as they have done with the Imperial Guard BaneBlade).
My other thoughts on this are, if these were GW, I would expect them to be painted in the ‘Eavy Metal style, and they’re not.
I am pretty sure at this point in time these are not a future GW kit, but it would be nice if GW did make a Stompa at some point in the future.

Grey Knights Landspeeder – progress report
It’s getting there, but I better get the crew done soon.
I am making some progress on my Grey Knights Landspeeder. Having done the purity seals I painted the skulls with a light brown foundation paint, I will be highlighting these with bleached bones.
Another view.

Epic Imperial Manticore
An Imperial Manticore prepares to fire a salvo of its deadly rockets on enemy positions in the heart of a ruined Imperial city.
This Epic model is one of the more difficult models to put together with four separate rockets which really don’t want to stay on their firing rails.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I now when giving my models a wash, add paint to the ink which removes the gloss you can see in the photograph.
Epic Ork Trukk
Epic Ork Trukk in the ruins of an Imperial city.
This is a conversion, it used an Ork Flakwagon and the Ork Buggy Gunnerz from two buggies. It had a white undercoat, I then painted the metal parts black, drybrushed with Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal. The red parts were painted red, I then gave it a wash of Chestnut Ink.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I now when giving my models a wash, add paint to the ink which removes the gloss you can see in this photograph. You can see that effect on these models.
The wash has given them a matt look which looks more “realistic” than the gloss finish of the Trukk above.
Workbench feature on how I painted those Gunwagons.
Writing the Purity Seals on my Grey Knights Landspeeder
Having finished off the red wax on my Grey Knights Landspeeder I set about adding writing to the paper parts of the purity seals.
I used a watered down Chaos Black for the writing.
I am okay with the end result, but would have liked to have done some finer writing, so I may try again.
I also took the opportunity to paint the Inquisitorial book on the front with a red foundation paint.
This needs some tidying up as well.

Ork Battlefortress
An Epic Ork Battlefortress moves through the ruins of an Imperial city supported by other Ork vehicles.
This has been converted. The front turrets were replaced with flak gunz from Ork Flakwagonz. A Pulsa Rokkit was added on the left, whilst Ork Buggy Gunnerz were added on the right. It was undercoated black, drybrushed with Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal with some parts picked out in red.
