The Black Templars stand as the most fervent Chapter within the Adeptus Astartes, a brotherhood of Space Marines renowned for their unwavering devotion to the Emperor. These warriors are not merely soldiers, but zealous crusaders, charging headlong into battle to confront their enemies directly and deliver the Emperor’s justice with the cold fury of righteous wrath.

Their fervor is legendary, a burning intensity that fuels their every action. In a testament to their unwavering resolve, the Black Templars chain their weapons – their bolters, their chainswords, their mighty power fists – to their wrists. This act of self-denial symbolizes their absolute commitment to the Emperor’s will. Their weapons are extensions of their bodies, tools of their faith, and they shall not be relinquished until victory is secured, or until they themselves are utterly vanquished.

The Black Templars are not merely warriors; they are living embodiments of the Emperor’s wrath, a storm of steel and fury unleashed upon the galaxy’s enemies. They are a terrifying sight to behold, their black armor gleaming ominously in the battlefield’s harsh light, their faces obscured by grim helms, and their eyes burning with the cold fire of unwavering faith.

Predator Tank

This Black Templars Predator was in the display cabinets at Warhammer World.

The Predator, is the most common main battle tank employed by the Space Marines of the Imperium of Man. It is a more heavily armed and armoured version of the Rhino armoured personnel carrier.

Land Raider Crusader

This Blood Angels Land Raider Crusader was on display at Warhammer World.

The Land Raider Crusader is a variant of the standard Land Raider Phobos used by the Space Marines and the Inquisition. The Land Raider Crusader is rearmed to provide short-ranged, anti-infantry assault support for Astartes offensives. The Land Raider Crusader is intended to be an assault-based variant of the Land Raider that is a linebreaker without peer. The Crusader can smash through enemy formations, shrugging off small arms fire in order to disgorge a squad of Space Marines into the heart of the foe. In place of Lascannons, the Crusader is armed with Hurricane Bolters that cut down the first line of defenders before an assault is launched. A hull-mounted twin Assault Cannon adds to its formidable anti-infantry firepower, its Frag Assault Launchers suppressing the foe while the tank closes in. The Crusader also boasts an improved transport capacity by reclaiming the space normally given over to the Land Raider Phobos’ bulky las-power generators.

Black Templars Stormhawk Interceptor

The Stormhawk Interceptor is a heavily armed air superiority fighter and gunship used by the Adeptus Astartes. It is a close relative to the Stormtalon gunship, but is more specialised for air-to-air combat. The Stormhawk is equipped with a powerful las-talon, twin assault cannons, and a skyhammer missile launcher, making it a formidable opponent for any enemy aircraft.

The Stormhawk is also highly manoeuvrable, making it an excellent dogfighter. It can easily outmanoeuvre enemy aircraft, and its powerful weapons can quickly dispatch them. The Stormhawk is also capable of operating in both void and atmospheric flight, making it a versatile asset to any Space Marine force.

When deployed in large numbers, Stormhawk squadrons can quickly overwhelm enemy air defences. They are often used in Vehemence Attack Patterns, in which they dive down on their targets at high speed, unleashing a devastating hail of fire. The Stormhawk’s golden haloes of flares are a signal that whatever planet the skies are over, they belong to the Emperor.

It is armed with a las-talon, twin assault cannons, and a skyhammer missile launcher and is protected by a layer of ablative armour.

The Stormhawk Interceptor is a powerful and versatile aircraft that is an essential asset to any Space Marine force. It is a fearsome opponent in air-to-air combat, and its ability to operate in both void and atmospheric flight makes it a valuable asset in any campaign.

Black Templars Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought

This Black Templars Primaris Redemptor Dreadnought was on display at Warhammer World.

Redemptor Dreadnoughts are giant, powerful war machines that are used by the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines of the Imperium of Man. They are larger and more heavily armed than traditional Dreadnoughts, and they are equipped with a variety of advanced technologies that allow them to operate with surprising dexterity and speed, even though their pilots are entombed in cybernetic sarcophagi.

Redemptor Dreadnoughts are armed with a variety of powerful weapons, including a heavy flamer, an onslaught gatling cannon, and a macro plasma incinerator. These weapons can tear through enemy armour and flesh with ease, making Redemptor Dreadnoughts a fearsome sight on the battlefield.

In addition to their firepower, Redemptor Dreadnoughts are also protected by thick armour that can withstand heavy fire. This makes them ideal for spearheading assaults or holding the line against enemy attacks.

Redemptor Dreadnoughts are piloted by Astartes who have been mortally wounded in battle. These warriors are entombed in cybernetic sarcophagi that keep their bodies alive and allow them to continue fighting for the Emperor. The neural links that connect the pilot to the Dreadnought allow them to control the machine with surprising dexterity and speed, even though they are unable to move their own bodies.

Redemptor Dreadnoughts are a valuable asset to any Astartes force. They are powerful, versatile, and deadly, and they can turn the tide of any battle. Redemptor Dreadnoughts are a testament to the Adeptus Astartes’ dedication to never give up, no matter the cost. These mighty war machines are a symbol of hope for the Imperium, and they continue to fight for the Emperor even after their pilots have been mortally wounded.

The Rhino, or more formally, the Mars Pattern Rhino, is an Imperial armoured personnel carrier (APC) that is widely used throughout the galaxy by many different factions, though it is a mainstay vehicle of the Adeptus Astartes. It has provided safe transportation since the days of the Great Crusade, transporting its cargo of Space Marines swiftly and safely to the forefront of battle. Robust and versatile, and able to resist the most hostile of environments, the Rhino has become the basic troop transport for Space Marine squads.
