My Orks from a game, prepare to hold the line.
Press Moulds
Really enjoyed reading this blog post on making press moulds or stamp tools for models.
Raptors Whirlwind
This Space Marine Whirlwind with Raptors doors from Forge World was entered into the GamesDay 2006 Golden Demon awards.
I do like the doors from Forge World, a quick and easy way of enhancing the plain plastic kits from GW.

Chaos Vindicator
Chaos Vindicator on display at GamesDay 2007.
The Vindicator has been in use by Imperial forces since the Great Crusade, and it has hardly changed since those turbulent days so long ago. The Space Marine Legions that sided with the corrupted Warmaster and Primarch of the Luna Wolves, Horus Lupercal, used their Vindicators against the Loyalist forces of the Emperor during the Horus Heresy.

Ork Big Trakk
Ork Big Trakk in the Forge World display cabinets at GamesDay 2009.
Originally this was to be a conversion of the Ork Trukk kit, however in the end it was decided to make it a full resin kit. Main issue is that it comes with no instructions and it isn’t the easiest kit to put together.

Ork Barricades
One of the nice Cities of Death models released were the resin Ork Barricades. Six resin barricades (still available) that have a very Orkiness about them.
Orks are adapt at banging together large piles of debris, welding them with burnas and Gretchin for extra stickiness. In dense city-fights, cunning Ork Warbosses use these barricades to funnel enemy troops and prevent their armour from manoeuvring, before their Tankbustas launch a devastating ambush.
These are going to be part of what hopefully will be an Ork city.
Here is one of the barricades.
Imperial Fists Rhino
An Imperial Fists Rhino that was entered into the 2006 Golden Demon awards at the UK GamesDay.
Now this is a very nicely painted model and well done.

Time to light those Rokkits
Ork Stormboyz prepare to launch their assault from the “safety” of a ruined building.
Ork StormBoyz from my Ork army moving across the battlefield, a ruined Imperial city. They have the nickname “the lipstick boyz”.

Damocles Command Rhino
This Damocles Command Rhino won the Forgeworld Best of Show prize in the 2005 UK Golden Demon awards.
The radar dish moved around and as you can see in this shot, the inside included “real” lights (made from LEDs).
It was very well painted and made good use of the Forgeworld Imperial Fists doors. Some very nice weathering as well.
