My Ork Skorcha and Wartrakk on the move in a recent game.
Tankbustaz
These are a group of Tankbustaz Boyz moving forward in column.
Though in this game there were no tanks, but there were lots of Tyranids!
Ork Burna Boyz
These are my Ork Burna Boyz.
One of the problems of photographing your miniatures is that you see bits and pieces and details you missed whilst painting them, looks like these might need to go back onto the workbench.
Ork with Rokkit Launcha
Having used foundation paints for the basecoat of the Ork Rokkits I then painted them with normal citadel colour.
It seems to work as advertised, which is nice.
Tyranids versus Orks

Here is the end of turn one of my most recent game of Warhammer 40000.
My Orks were facing a bundle of Tyranids and Genestealers and nasty pieces of work they are too.
Despite some overwhelming firepower, the Orks eventually lost to the sheer nastiness of the assaulting ‘nids.
Ork with Rokkit Launcha
This is my Ork with Rokkit Launcha.
As you can see I have (again) used Citadel’s new Foundation Paints to paint the rokkits, they still need highlighting and other things done, but the red does cover the black undercoat quite easily.
Ork with Big Shoota
This is one of my conversions, an Ork with a Big Shoota. The Ork has had his Shoota extended with barrel of another Shoota to make a Big Shoota.
I started off with a black undercoat and then do all the metallic bitz with a drybrush of tin bitz and chainmail. I then do all the Ork skin with a dark green, usually Snot Green.
I then highlighted with Goblin Green before doing final highlights with a mixture of Goblin Green and Bleached Bone.
Still some way to go…
Ork Wartrakk
This is where I last left my Ork Wartrakk with converted tracks and searchlight.
I have now painted the seat.
Once I have painted some of the stowage, I am going to give the bodywork a wash of Chestnut Ink and a small amount of Scorched Brown to reduce the glossy effect of the ink.
Ork Kommando with Burna
The Ork Kommando with Burna comes as two castings.
The actual model comprises four components, the main body, a backpack and the two arms, one of which has the actual burna.
Fitting the model together was relatively easy, the arms fitted well and there are only minimal gaps which need filling.
At the moment I am not sure whether to attach the backpack now or later.
Next stage will be using green stuff to fill the gaps.
