Having not really done much with my Ork Stompa for a long time… I have recently started to get going again with painting it.
Here are the feet of the Stompa.
As they will be mainly hidden by the large body of the Stompa, I am going to leave them mainly black.
I am going for a predominantly red colour scheme, but I am using various shades of red and some brown for the effect. I am aiming to have something in the end which will be similar to the GW paintjob.

Here is a band of Epic Ork Warbikes.
I was never a real fan of the plastic models, as they lacked depth and character. I did convert a model attaching an Ork Nob in Mega-Armour to one of the bikes to create an Ork Warboss on a warbike.
Pity that Epic has been sidelined as I would love to see some new Forge World epic miniatures. Or even new miniatures in Finecast.

You may recall from a previous blog post that I thought they would make for really nice Imperial Guard armoured vehicles. As they are 1/48th scale they would fit very well with the 25/28mm size of the Imperial Guard. Of course with some ramshackle additions they would also make for some really nice Ork vehicles too.
An Epic Ork Tank.
These two models are probably two of my favourite Ork models for Epic. The Flakk Wagon had so much conversion potential, I made lots of them into Trukks and other kinds of Ork models. I really liked the detail on the Wartrakk, it was a beautiful sculpture for such a tiny model.

The Squiggoth first appeared in Epic and this version was from Epic 40000. Though Forge World have made two Squiggoths, they never came with turrets!
Today Games Workshop released some new digital books in the Apple iBookstore. A couple caught my eye as an Ork player.
