I don’t recall seeing many of this kind of game at GamesDay 2010, which was a pity.

War Mumak of Harad
A Mumakil from the display cabinets at GamesDay 2008.
The armies of Harad often employ Mumakil, massive war-beasts trained by the Mahud, to trample their enemies under colossal hooves. A Mumak is nigh unstoppable once is begins its charge, tossing aside enemies like broken dolls. The largest model in The Lord of The Rings range, a Mumak can break through an enemy line while Haradrim warriors rain deadly arrows from atop the howdah on its mighty back.

These models are making clever use of the Dark Angels sprues.

Defending Fort Pain
At GamesDay 2008 there was a wonderful display of the defence of Fort Pain. It involved the unearthing of an Eldar Warpgate by Imperial xenoarchaeologists.

Fantastic Fantasy Building
A well made fantasy building from the display cabinets at GamesDay 2008.
So much detail and beautifully put together.
It makes extensive use of the fantasy building kits from Games Workshop. I am really pleased with the quality and quantity of fantasy (and 40K) terrain and scenery now available from Games Workshop. It really makes it much easier to create excellent looking tables. I do though need to model and paint more scenery though.
