Eldar Avatar
From the display at Warhammer World was this fantastic Eldar Avatar.
Every craftworld is home to an Eldar Avatar who sits motionless until the call to arms begins. He is the embodiment of an ancient God, molten iron flowing through his veins. In his right he carries the Wailing Doom, the weapon of the bloodstained God which cries for the taste of mortal flesh.
The painter has created a wonderful fire energy effect beneath the armour, the Avatar looks like it is brimming with plasma or something equally powerful.
Armorcast Revenant Titan
At GamesDay 2006 was this very nice Armorcast Revenant Titan.
Of course since then we now have the Forge World Revenant Titan, which is more elegant and less “brutish” appearance.
Eldar Phantom Titan
One of the highlights of GamesDay 2010 was Will Hayes’ Eldar Phantom Titan. This is the sketch model.
Very impressive and very tall.
It will be at least six months before it goes on sale and probably closer to nine months.
One of the interesting comments from the Forge World seminar on the logistics of Forge World. Basically they have the resources to make one BIG model every two years. In 2009 we saw the Reaver Titan, 2011 we see the Eldar Phantom Titan.
So what do we see in 2013?
I know I would like to see an Ork Gargant, however I suspect that a Warlord Titan is probably the most likely option.
Another comment made in the seminar was that the resin and process they use, is used by companies such as Rolls Royce to make resin models of their aircraft engines. This means that size isn’t really an issue! So a Capitol Imperialis is certainly possible from a logistics perspective, from a market perspective, some would sell, but would enough sell to make it worthwhile for Forge World to make one?

Eldar Wave Serpent
Eldar Wave Serpent from the Golden Demon displays at GamesDay 2006.
The Wave Serpent is the main troop carrier of a Craftworld’s army. Protected inside its sleek hull, strike forces of Aspect Warriors and Guardians can be transported in safety to any part of the battlefield. The Wave Serpent’s energy field projectors generate a rippling bow wave of force at the front of the craft that disrupts incoming fire. Its powerful anti-grav engines give it speed enough to hurtle across a battlefield in seconds. These abilities, combined with superior heavy weaponry, make the Wave Serpent a superb asset to the Eldar warhost in all theatres of war.
Eldar Wraithlord
This is an impressive Eldar Wraithlord.
It was an entry in the UK 2006 Golden Demon Awards.
Towering over its foes, the Wraithlord is controlled by the essence of one of the craftworld’s mightiest warriors. Able to be equipped with a wide variety of Heavy Weapons, Assault Weapons and even a close combat weapon the Wraithlord is an extremely versatile component in the Eldar battleplan.
