I am continuing to work on my Ork Aircraft Traktor and having undercoated the launch trolley with a black undercoat I went to work on painting it.
I gave the plane carrying trailer/launcher a drybrush of Tin Bitz. I then gave the model a heavy drybrush of Boltgun Metal. I then added a lot of rust using Chestnut Ink mixed with some Blazing Orange to remove the gloss from the ink.
The Ork Fighter Bommer sits on this trolley.
At GamesDay 2006 there were a fair few demonstration games. One such game featured an Ork settlement under attack from the Imperial Guard.

Here is an Imperial Guard Salamander from Simon’s collection slowly moving through the ruins of an Imperial ruined city.
The Salamander command vehicle is one of the many vehicles based on the flexible Chimera chassis. Armoured Company command sections are often equipped with the Salamander Command vehicle, allowing them and their Chimera borne infantry keep up during an assault and support the tanks.
These conversions were made, probably about ten years ago.
I am pretty sure that these are Griffon hulls, as for the gunners, well would you believe me if I said they were Ork Buggy Gunners?

This is the wonderful Epic Aeronautica Imperialis Forge World Airfield which was on display at GamesDay 2008 (and other shows). It is also featured in the Modelling Masterclass Volume I.
Really nicely done and beauifully painted aircraft too.
I really like the tundra snow effect and scenery, very well done.
I have added more of the Repressor basecoat.
I used the Citadel Foundation Paint, Tausept Ochre.
At this point the Dozer Blade is not attached and will be glued on once the model has been painted fully.
See the full workbench feature on the Inquisitorial Stormtrooper Repressor.
Back in 2001 at the UK GamesDay, flavour of the month was Tau. Many of the demonstration games used Tau. In this game Imperial Guard defend their city from Tau attack.

Named after a mysterious figure from the Imperium’s earliest days, Malcador the Sigillite (-a close advisor to the Emperor during the Battles of Unification, and the man credited with founding the Administratum of Terra), the tank is a mobile fortress, heavily armed and armoured but slow. Mounting multiple heavy bolters for all-round defence, side-sponson weapons and a demolisher cannon in a limited-traverse hull mount.
