I have finished my Ork Skorcha.
I still want to add some more detailing and I will probably add another couple of grot riggers (using fantasy snotlings).
I think the armour skirts are slightly too low, but they still work.

Sleazy Rider
This limited edition from Citadel in the 1980s became very rare as they withdrew it very quickly from sale.
I painted the fuel tank in Soviet colours as the painted model in White Dwarf at the time had its fuel tank painted with the stars and stripes and I didn’t think I could get the lines straight.
It is probably now one of my favourite models of all time and I now wish I had not sold it on eBay a few years back…
It should be noted that this was in fact a fantasy model and pre Warhammer 40K…hence the wooden wheel, though the back wheel was from a Judge Dredd model.
Skorcha
Having washed the model, I went and gave it a drybrush to tone down the wash and accentuate the detail.
I also did some more on the motorbike front and the fuel trailer.
Ork with Rokkit Launcha
I have undercoated my conversion of an ork with a Rokkit Launcha.
It is a plastic Ork Boyz model, then using a Shoota and sticking a metal grenade (from the Stormboyz set) in the end, making it look very much like a panzerfaust. The head is also from the Stormboyz set.
Ork Skorcha
My Skorcha is nearing the end of its journey.
This shot shows the model after painting the entire bodywork in Vomit Brown.
The next stage was to give it a wash of Chestnut Ink, Scorched Brown and water.
This accents the detail and I will then drybrush with Vomit Brown.
The driver is nearly done and the Grot Rigger is now finished.
Still quite a bit to do, but it is looking good.
Feral Ork Boyz
I have done some more to my Feral Ork Boyz, these models use components from the Ork Boyz sprue and the Warhammer Fantasy Battle Orc sprue.
You may notice on one of the models that the body looks “funny” this was down to a poor quality sprue.
Still a lot more to do.
Limited Edition 40K scale Inquisitor Model (got one)
Managed to get one today…
At the beginning of March I mentioned that GW were releasing a limited edition Witch Hunter model that would only be sold in the stores on the 2nd and 3rd April.
Well I didn’t think I was going to get one, but I was on my way over to Simon’s for a game of Space Hulk and stopped off at the GW store and picked one up.
It is a very nice model and is based on the Witch Hunter model that is available in the boxed set, but has a different weapon (plasma pistol) and is pointing rather than holding a sword.
Personally I think it is a better model.
Now do I paint it, or do I keep it and sell it on eBay in a few years time (or does everyone do that).

Ork Standard Bearer
Added some more detail to my Feral Ork Standard Bearer.
Not much real progress there.
Boar
I am adding some more Boar Boyz to my Feral Ork army.
This is the latest boar.
Big Gunz Krew
I have been painting some more krew for my Big Gunz.
With only the two crew supplied, an opponent can quickly make your Gunz useless by killing them. By adding extra crew the Gunz last longer and thus do more damage.
