Ork Aircraft Traktor and Launch Trolley
One of the gifts I got for a birthday was the Forgeworld Ork Aircraft Traktor and Launch Trolley.
One of the reasons I asked for it was not just because I have an Ork Fighter Bommer on the workbench but also as on the Forgeworld website it said:
Be warned, stock of this model is starting to run low!
I suspect this may be because a) no one is buying it and/or b) with the release of new Ork plastics at some point the plastic mould may be wearing out.
The model consists of the plastic Wartrakk and some resin pieces.
The resin pieces include wheels, the trailer, an arm, a fuel tank and the hook.
The Ork Aircraft Traktor is used to taxi Ork aircraft in position to launch, where it takes off discarding the launch trolley. the Aircraft Traktor also recovers landed Ork aircraft for refueling.

I am certainly going to buy some of them for my Ork army.
Certainly well painted and look better than the other photos I have seen.

Ork Big Mek
In the most recent UK White Dwarf they had some pictures of the new models they are releasing for their new summer campaign.
One of these is a Ork Big Mek.
It will be nice to see some new Ork models.
I hope this is something we will see more of, I have disliked the way that GW release whole armies now and whilst doing so ignore the other armies.
I have often wondered about this strategy especially in terms of people adding to their armies. I also suppose that some people will always go out and buy the new big thing (whether they paint it is a different story).
I like what GW use to do back in the 1980s when they released new miniatures every month for a range of armies rather than concentrating on two big releases like they do now.
Also released this summer will be some new Ork Kommandos.
