Well the rumour sites were right (as previously mentioned).
Games Workshop will be releasing some Ork variants of the barricades and they are now available to pre-order.
They look great, and I will certainly be getting some.

Managed to pick up a copy of Apocalypse Reload. Check the blurb from the Games Workshop website.
Apocalypse Reload is a supplement to the hugely popular Apocalypse book, crammed full of more than 50 exciting new datasheets, new strategic assets specific to each Warhammer 40,000 army, and an Apocalypse battle report that has to be seen to be believed!
It’s very nice and got some interesting stuff in (some of which we have seen before).
However I was disappointed it wasn’t a hardback!
This my Ork army advancing across the battlefield.
In there are my Forge World Squiggoth, Forge World Gunwagon, Stormboyz, Dethkoptaz and a battery of Big Gunz.
The scenery tiles are “homemade” using blocks of 4′ x 1½’ polystryene which I covered in the (original) Games Workshop gaming grass mat. I have four of these blocks, as the 6′ x 4′ grass mat covered them easily.
The hills are from a company I can’t remember and find at the moment!
Trees are model railway tress and there is a bunch of lichen in there as well.
I have shown a few pictures of various Epic scale Capitol Imperialis in the blog and on the website. Nice to see a really nice Warhammer 40K scale version on BoLS recently.
Though still a work in progress, it’s a really nice model.
Follow the course of the model on the BoLS blog. – blog has been removed…
One of the vehicles Simon has in his collection is this very nice Space Marine Predator. Here is another picture of his Predator, this time from the top.
This is a really nice model and I like what Simon has done with it.
More pictures of Predators.
The infamous Mole Mortar is back!
At the Warhammer 40K 5th Edition bash at Warhammer World yesterday (12th June) Forge World had on display a sneek peek of a Krieg Engineer team with Mole Launcher; which has to be a Mole Mortar by any other name!
Nice model and a must for anyone using Death Korps of Krieg.
Thanks to BoLS.
I was a fan of the Cities of Death Urban Barricades and Walls which were six resin barricades.
Well according to the rumour sites, Games Workshop will be releasing some Ork variants.
They look great, and I will certainly be getting some.
If you have been following my workbench feature on my Forge World Ork Gunwagon, you will know that it is nearly finished. Though not quite finished, it’s finished enough for me to use in a game (or two).
It performs quite well, and just ensure you have a few Meks around to fix it when it gets shot to pieces.
Simon’s Space Marine Dreadnought usually suffers terribly in our games.
However in the last game we played which included the Dreadnought, it performed quite well, much better than usual.
What this really means is that I can’t depend on it just blowing up anymore, it could be dangerous!
See our Dreadnought gallery.
