How many visitors…

As I did last year I posted photographs live from GamesDay 2009 to this blog. One impact is a huge rise in visitor numbers on the day and the following few days after the event.

Of course the interest doesn’t last for ever and after a while the visits drop to their pre-GamesDay levels as you can see from the graph.

Of course one of the reasons for the huge spike is that everyone out there is interested in what new and exciting stuff is been seen for the first time at GamesDay. This year there was less new stuff than previous years so very little exciting stuff to photo and upload. I did though upload a fair few photographs, in the main of the fantastic Ork Shanty Town from Forge World.

I do hope that those visitors who enjoyed my GamesDay coverage will continue to visit the site and enjoy the many photographs I post and details of what I am working on, on my workbench.

Ork Trukks

A couple of Ork Trukks of mine about to move across the battlefield.

The Trukks are quite old and seem to come out in black when photographed, whereas they are quite rusty really. With the Trukks I am intending to use the old Trukks as Warbuggies.

The scenery are my desert boards in an unfinished state.

Cities of Death

This is from a game we had.

The scenery is a mix of Cityfight, the gothic ruins and Forge World. Mixed in there are some Forge World barricades and Warhammer 40K barbed wire.

Yes there in the middle is an unexploded Grot Bomb with probably one very confused, but very lucky grot.

Ork Big Mek with Big Shoota

This was part of the Apocalypse releases.

Having (eventually) got the model out of the blister you have a better idea of how many parts you get in there.

The next stage was putting it all together, I decided to put the whole model together as separate assemblies didn’t seem to be needed.

The next stage will be a black undercoat.
