You`ll also see many of their current projects, new and forthcoming models as well as previews of our next two book releases Imperial Armour Vol 6: The Siege of Vraks Part 2 and our Imperial Armour modelling book. Special Sneak Peaks
In this newsletter we have two very special previews for the Open Day to show you. The first is the amazing new Reaver Titan designed by Will Hayes. The mighty Reaver is now finished and you will be able to pre-order it at the Open Day! This will be the first chance to pre-order this truly stunning model. Rather than spoil the surprise of what the finished model looks like, Here’s just a teaser shot of the Titan’s foot with a Space Marine model to scale this beast!
Our second special preview is of our new special edition show only model for 2008; the Reaver Titan Princeps who you can see pictures of Here. This model will be available in Very Limited quantities for sale at the Open Day, but will be available at other events we attend throughout the year. Our other current show-only models will also be available at the Open Day.
New Catalogue
At the end of April Forge World will be releasing its new 2008 catalogue. If you would like a copy of the catalogue (which is free regardless of wherever you are in the world), please get in touch with us at our catalogue request email address at forgeworldcatreq@games-workshop.co.uk or give a ring at we’ll take your address details and get you one sent out.
Attractions & Activities
As well as the chance to come and see what we are up to, we have a lot of other great activities at the event. You’ll be able to see our forge World studio’s superb Siege of Vraks board and there will be display and participation games, including a giant Apocalypse Battle between the Imperium and the Eldar, and our ever popular 40k-scale version of our Aeronautica Imperialis game.
There will also be an area where people can bring their own painted Forge World models for display (and a small prize handed out for the one we like best). We will also be running our charity raffle to win a Warhound Titan; tickets will be £1 each and the proceeds will go to ‘Children in Need’. You can buy as many tickets for the raffle as you like and the winner will be drawn at the end of the day, so its your chance to get hold of a Titan for a £1!
We will also have a sales stand with a selection of our stock available, and the ability to place orders to send out with no shipping to pay. Reservation orders for the Open Day are now closed however.
Additionally the Warhammer World facilities will be open for business as usual, so you can use the store, take a look round the museum or get some food and refreshments in Bugman’s Bar and restaurant.

World Eaters Previews

Forge World Newsletter #191

Another Forge World Newsletter this time with some new Chaos stuff…

Hello There,
It’s been some time since our last newsletter, and we have been incredibly busy here at Forge World in the interim, both in keeping up with the unprecedented amount of orders we’ve been getting and in preparing for the future release Imperial Armour Volume 6. If you are still waiting on an order, don`t worry, we will get your models out to you as soon as we can, and for those of you we have left craving new releases, we have some fantastic ones to announce in this newsletter in the shape of our Death Guard Terminator and Marine Conversion Kits, and our new Death Korps of Krieg Equipment & Upgrade sets.
Thanks
Alan Bligh

The Battle for Vraks Continues…
Imperial Armour Volume 6: The Siege of Vraks Part 2 will see a massive escalation in the brutal war between the loyalist Imperial forces and the renegades led by the treacherous Cardinal Xaphan. Of course, this means we will be producing an expanding range of new Chaos and Imperial releases to help you fight your own battles for Vraks or simply add some cool new models to your own collection.

The Lords of Decay

The first new re-enforcements for the traitors of Vraks are from the dreaded Death Guard Chaos Space Marine Legion. We have two new beautifully vile and suppurating conversion sets for these Plague Marines, both designed by Mark Bedford. Firstly we have our Death Guard Marines Conversion set which requires the use of the plastic Chaos Space Marine boxed set, and builds ten Death Guard Marines. Although intended to represent the Plague Marines of the Death Guard, you could also use them to help create your own legions of decay, Nurgle-marked Chaos Marine Havocs, or even Nurgle-marked Raptors and the like. The Death Guard Terminator Conversion set in conjunction with the Chaos Terminator boxed set, goes to make up five Death Guard Terminators, and of course can also be used to furnish your Nurgle-marked Chaos Space Marine characters and Nurgle-marked Terminators for other renegade forces.

As you can see from the pictures these are wonderfully detailed models that really bring the decaying ruin of the Death Guard to unholy life, and you`ll see more Chaos models and further re-enforcements for the Renegades in the coming months.

Death Korps of Krieg Upgrade Sets

We also have some new and much-requested additions for our Death Korps of Krieg range in the shape of three Equipment upgrade sets, designed by Will Hayes and Simon Egan. These sets feature extra weapons and equipment in the patterns and styles used by the Death Korps. The first, the Death Korps of Krieg Weapons set contains five lasguns and two each of the grenade launcher, melta gun and flamer (one of each set with arms, and one unattached). The Death Korps of Krieg Equipment set features vox casters, ammunition, bayonets, demo charges and grenades, while the Death Korps of Krieg Command Upgrade set is made up of extra plasma and las pistols and chain and power swords, and weapon arms, as well as a set of five extra command shoulder plates to expand your command units.

As with the Renegades and followers of Chaos, the Imperium will also see an expansion in the forces fighting on Vraks, so you can look forward to more models for the Death Korps as well as some new forces becoming involved in the spiralling war we have yet to reveal!

Imperial Armour Volume 5 Q & A

Also up on the Forge World website is a new Q & A document compiled by Warwick Kinrade for Imperial Armour Volume 5, which you can find Here.

Forge World Newsletter #190

Stormsword Arkurion Pattern

A new Forge World Newsletter with details of three new  Arkurion Pattern Super Heavy Tanks. These are the conversion kits for the plastic BaneBlade model. Quite good value at £85 each.

Hi There,

Things are still very busy here at Forge World, but we have some news of a release that I know a lot have you have been waiting for since one was first previewed at Games Day UK last year; the new Super Heavies are here! Also in this newsletter, we have some great new stuff for Aeronautica Imperialis and some events news for the New Year.

Alan Bligh

Three New Imperial Super Heavy Tanks

Stormblade Arkurion Pattern

Brand new and much anticipated are the Arkurion Pattern Stormsword, Shadowsword and Stormblade. These three new model kits are complete kits that use some of the sprues from the new GW Plastic Baneblade kit along with additional new resin components replacing the upper hulls, main weapon, engine deck and fighting compartment. These fantastic new super heavy tanks were designed by Daren Parrwood, and make fine additions to any collection whether you`re after the titan-killing firepower of the Shadowsword for your Apocalypse force or just after cool modelling project to test your skills on. These new super-heavies are available either individually or as part of special bundle deals of three to bring terror to your foes! You can find more details of our bundle deals here, and if you order the deal you’ll get free express shipping worldwide.

Here you can see pictures of the Shadowsword, Stormblade and Stormsword painted by the talented Phil Stutchinskas. You`ll be able to see further examples of Phil`s work along with a feature on how he achieved these stunning paint jobs, together with other Forge World projects from our Studio team in our forthcoming painting and modelling book, but more details on that in future newsletters!

Shadowsword Arkurion Pattern

These three new Super Heavy Tank kits (and bundles) are available for pre-order now for release the week commencing the 25th of February.

New for Aeronautica Imperialis

We also have three new releases for the Tau AI range this Newsletter in the shape of the AX-2-2 Tiger shark Drone Carrier, the Remora Stealth Drones and Aerial Mines, which you can see pictures of here. The addition of these aircraft adds even greater depth to the Tau Air Cadres, with the Tiger Shark deploying their deadly drone fighter cargo directly into the battle, while the aerial mines are fantastic defences in scenarios and campaigns.

Full rules for these aircraft, and the Typha Conflict it which they are first used in battle can be found in our Tactica Aeronautica expansion book, which (this seems a good time to mention!) can currently be purchased in a special bundle deal for a substantial saving along with the Aeronautica Imperialis rulebook on or online store.

These models are available for pre-order now for release the week commencing the 25th of February.

Gamesday Spain

Forge World will be attending our first show of the year at Games Day Spain on the 17th of February, we are however only able to take a limited selection of our stock. So, if you would like to place a reservation order for the items you`re after by phone or at our reservations email address at fwreservations@games-workshop.co.uk we’ll do our best to have your order waiting for you to pick up and pay for at the event. If you want to place a reservation, it must be with us no later than Monday the 4th of February

Forge World Open Day

Also we can confirm that we will be holding our second Forge World Open Day this Year at Warhammer World in Lenton on the 6th of April. I can`t give any more firm details yet other than to say that admission will once again be free. Last year`s Open Day was a great success, and our customers got to meet the designers, get their questions answered, take part in some special games and of course buy our latest items direct, and we are hoping to meet many of you again this year.
