I don’t have any bikes in my Ork army and only really like two of the three models available. I do quite like the Ork Warboss, but at £38 is slightly out of my budget, especially as I can get ⅔’s of an Ork Stompa for that!
I think my favourite model from GamesDay 2008 was Forge World’s Ork Flakk Wagon.
From a gaming perspective it can’t really be considered too important as I guess not too many gamers use aircraft in their games (but hey you never know).
From a model perspective it is just a conversion kit, it is not a full resin kit. It looks as though as well as new crew you also get a new engine too.
I really do like the way it looks, very Orky.
In my original post on the Flakk Wagon just after GamesDay I said:
I also like it, because it means that Forge World are making more Ork stuff and I hope that this isn’t a one off, but just the start of lots of new stuff.
At the Forge World Open Day in April we saw various work in progress models from Will Hayes so that wave of Ork stuff from Forge World is on its way.

One of the reasons for going to GamesDay are the huge display games, my personal favourites are the ones form Forge World.
This one representing part of the Siege of Vraks had titans, super heavy tanks, and lots of trenches and guns.
Here Death Korps of Krieg tanks move forward to combat the Chaos menace.

Here is a Death Korps of Krieg Heavy Mortar, field artillery is often used by Imperial Guard commanders to pound enemy positions.
