Looted Ork Rhino Update

It has been some time since I posted an update on my Ork Looted Rhino, so here is one. I have painted the tracks black.

I drybrushed the tracks with Tin Bitz and Boltgun Metal.

I did something similar with the wheels…

… and one of the Ork’s added armour panels.

At this point I then decided to do the exhausts in a similar manner.

The next stage will be painting the basecoat.

Orks attack an Imperial column…

These photographs are from a recent Cities of Death (Cityfight) game.

The Imperial Guard had to get a column through the ruined city whilst the Orks waited (paitently) to ambush it.

In this shot, the Orks are trying to get charges placed on the armour of a Chimera in order to disable it.

Whilst an Imperial Leman Russ tank comes from behind to take them out!

This is an overhead shot of the game at this point, with many of the Imperial armoured vehicles on the table and most of the Orks have “appeared” from their hiding places.

We used hidden placement of the Ork units and the night fighting rules for shooting at hidden units.
