Orks attack an Imperial column…

These photographs are from a recent Cities of Death (Cityfight) game.

The Imperial Guard had to get a column through the ruined city whilst the Orks waited (paitently) to ambush it.

In this shot, the Orks are trying to get charges placed on the armour of a Chimera in order to disable it.

Whilst an Imperial Leman Russ tank comes from behind to take them out!

This is an overhead shot of the game at this point, with many of the Imperial armoured vehicles on the table and most of the Orks have “appeared” from their hiding places.

We used hidden placement of the Ork units and the night fighting rules for shooting at hidden units.

Orks with Heavy Weapons

From the first floor of ruins of an Imperial building, Orks with a Big Shoota and a Rokkit Launcha attack an Imperial convoy.

Cityfight of Death

Here is an overhead photograph of a recent game of Warhammer 40000 using bits and pieces of rules from both Cityfight and the new Cities of Death.

The Stormboyz were using their jump packs to get to the objective, a Grot Bomb Launcha. It contained reconnaissance photographs that the Orks needed to retrieve and the Imperial Guard needed to stop them.

The main mob of Ork Boyz were running up the main street as a diversion so that the Stormboyz could get the photographs.

This shows the state of play and the main moves been made by the Orks and the Imperial Guard.

Overall it was a good game, well I would say that I won.
