Of the many display games at GamesDay 2001, one of many which caught my eye was this Epic game involving the might of the Imperium. There are Space Marines fighting alongside the mighty Warlord Titans of the Adeptus Mechanicus.

Of the many display games at GamesDay 2001, one of many which caught my eye was this Warmaster siege game in the snow.
As well as the nice scenery there were lots of siege weapons in use.
Overall a great looking game.
Warmaster is one of those games which I think is fantastic, but have never found the time to do it justice either in painting an army or playing lots of games. One day, really one day I will get round to doing more with it.

Back at GamesDay 2001, Carl from Dropship, which is back up and being updates now, put on a most excellent Epic demonstration game with some fantastic models and some fantastic scenery.

One of the key scenery pieces for me was the freight yard, railway track and one of the nice Forge World Tank Factories (which is sadly now long longer available).
In that shot you can also see the very nice (and also not available) Capitol Imperalis.
Sadly this model was never re-released nor was it re-imagined when Epic Armageddon came around (and went again).
I have seen what some people have done on the web, but I do wonder now and again if Forge World will ever release either an Epic or a 40K version or something similar.
