Dead Dalek

Dead Dalek at Doctor Who Exhibition, well not so much dead rather just old and battered…

This is one of the original Daleks from the original series of Doctor Who.

Dead Dalek at Doctor Who Exhibition

As you can see time has not been kind and it is rather battered and worse for wear.

This old Dalek was seen at the Doctor Who Exhibition on Brighton pier.

Inside a Dalek

This prop actually seems to be made from two different Dalek models.

The bottom half is from the first half of the Dalek episode when the Dalek is chained up, it is only after the contact with Rose that it tidies itself up and later we get to see the inside.

Quite an impressive prop and again looks really good close-up.

I thought that they did a very good job on the new Daleks and I really like the design.

Third and Fourth Doctors

From the Doctor Who Exhibition on Brighton Pier…

The exhibition in the first part covered the history of the previous doctors and behind each screen was a monster which could be seen when a light was illuminated.

Third and Fourth Doctors

This shows the third and fourth doctor and behind (you can see if you try hard enough) is a Sea Devil (there is a picture of one on the screen as well).

I hope that we do see the return of the Sea Devils.

Doctor Who Exhibition on Brighton Pier…

Whilst on holiday I did manage to get to see the new Doctor Who exhibition on Brighton Pier.

Full of stuff from the new series there is also some older stuff including a Sea Devil and a Cyberman.

It costs £6 for an adult which considering the small size is quite expensive, but I really enjoyed looking around.

I will post more pictures over the next few days.

Third Series Confirmed

The BBC have confirmed that there will be a third series of Doctor Who, even before the first is finished and the second has started filming.

With two christmas specials as well, there are going to be twenty-eight new episodes of Doctor Who to look forward to.

Sadly Chris is leaving after Saturday’s episode, but Billie will be in all of series two, and the new doctor is David Tennant.
