Dwarf City

Probably my favourite display game at GamesDay 2008 was the Dwarf City that was under attack by a sea borne Orc and Goblin army.

The scenery was beautifully constructed, some amazing Venetian inspired buildings and bridges.

There were also lots of lovely boats and ships.

Lots of nice little touches including for example these Dwarves having a kebab!

Warmaster Castle

This castle is from a Warmaster demonstration game at GamesDay 2008.

Old West Town

This Old West Town was the scenery in an Old West demonstration games at GamesDay 2008.

On my website I have a gallery devoted to the Space Wolves. The pictures predominantly show Mike Sharpe’s superb Space Wolves army, which was on show at GamesDay 2006, GamesDay 2007 and GamesDay 2008.

As well as lots of Space Wolves he also had a fair few Titans when the army was displayed at GamesDay 2008.

This was one of his Reaver Titans.

The army as a whole is very impressive, but as you might expect painting such a large number of models, there isn’t a huge amount of detailing on the titan.
