Here is a photographs of all the ships from the Kingdom of Britannia Naval Battle Group.
Look at the workbench feature.
After drybrushing the Battleship and the Cruisers, the next lots of ships to be drybrushed and weathered from the Dystopian Wars Kingdom of Britannia Naval Battle Group were the small Attacker Class Frigates.
These are very tiny in comparison to their sister ships.
I think I could have added more details, but key for me was getting them finished to get them on the table.
Having finished the Ruler Class Battleship I then finished off the remaining ships in the Kingdom of Britannia Naval Battle Group. First were the Tribal Class Cruisers.
Here are the finished three cruisers.
I am basically finished with these ships and they are ready to use in games.
Having washed the Ruler Class Battleship from the Dystopian Wars Kingdom of Britannia the next stage was drybrushing the bring out the detail and weathering.
The weathering didn’t quite work out as well as I thought it would. I was using a Citadel Shade to add rust and oil, and it appeared to “bleed” the paint underneath.
I am basically finished with these ships and they are ready to use in games. I would like to add some masts, rigging and flags, but not sure if they would work in this scale and be robust enough for gaming with.
The Olympic Liner is one of the largest passenger ships ever created, these impressive vessels have carried people over the seas in style since 1861.
I gave the hull was given a basecoat of Citadel Chaos Black.
I then decided to add a dark red to the hull where it (in theory) would be under the waterline. Similar to the marketing shots for the model.

Have worked on the models in the Dystopian Wars Airfield Set. Doing some more light washing and drybrushing.
Certainly now in a position to be used as scenery in a game.
As with the frigates and the cruisers I gave the Ruler Class Battleship from the Dystopian Wars Kingdom of Britannia, a wash of Citadel Shade: Agrax Earthshade. I did this to add shadow and shade and emphasise the decking.
I did consider painting parts of the model bronze or copper, to add a victorian science fiction feel, but in the end kept the model mostly grey to be more naval looking. Another thing I have seen on other peoples’ models is making elements of the model a glowing “cobalt” blue colour. I might do that if I go down the route of painting a Covenant of Antarctica naval force.
I think these models have an interesting design concept, but they’re not my favourite.
Next stage will be drybrushing.
