Probably my favourite display game at GamesDay 2008 was the Dwarf City that was under attack by a sea borne Orc and Goblin army.
The scenery was beautifully constructed, some amazing Venetian inspired buildings and bridges.
The attention to detail was amazing.

There were also lots of lovely boats and ships, including this Orc submarine…
…and this Orc galley.

Lots of nice little touches including for example these Dwarves having a kebab!

This is one of the many Warmaster games which was on show at GamesDay 2001. I did like the Dwarf Steam Wagon.
Reminds me of my Old Glory 25mm Dwarf Steam Wagon.

When battle is joined it is the Lords and Thanes, with their finely crafted armour and rune-inscribed weapons who seek out the enemy’s most powerful combatants, matching bestial fury or dark magic with courage, honour and honest steel.
