The mounted element of a Tomb Kings of Khemri army is comprised of Skeleton Cavalry, the skeletal remains of the ancient kingdom’s light horsemen. Just like their infantry counterparts, these warriors were once living cavalrymen, now reanimated by the will of their Liche Priests and entombed kings. Unlike the fearsome constructs and larger monstrous units, Skeleton Cavalry are not individually powerful but are valued for their swiftness and ability to outmaneuver the enemy. They thunder across the battlefield in loose formations, their bony riders clutching rusted spears and archaic bows. While not suited for head-on charges against heavy infantry, they are perfect for flanking maneuvers, running down fleeing enemies, and harassing enemy missile troops. Their greatest strength lies in their ability to be sacrificed without consequence, as their masters see them as a disposable, yet invaluable, tool to secure victory.
