Snotlings

Snotlings, in the Warhammer Old World, are the smallest and least organized of the Greenskin races. They are a mere fraction of the size of a Goblin and possess the mental capacity of a particularly dim-witted fungus. As a result, they are rarely found fighting in a structured way. Instead, they are often a nuisance or a resource for their larger kin. Snotlings tend to swarm in great, disorganized masses, armed with whatever scraps they can find, and are often pushed into battle by bigger greenskins. They are not a true combat unit in the conventional sense, but they can be a chaotic and unpredictable element on the battlefield. Their sheer numbers and wild, unthinking nature can sometimes bog down or distract enemy units, though they are just as likely to flee or get in the way of their own side. In some cases, they are used in more “specialized” roles, such as the crew of a ramshackle Goblin war machine or as the hapless fodder for an Orc shaman’s most volatile spells. Despite their limited utility, a Snotling swarm perfectly encapsulates the chaotic and unruly nature of the greenskin hordes.
