Because they retain the base physical resilience, high Toughness, and raw strength of a standard Orc Boy, a mob of Arrer Boyz equipped with shields can easily pivot from a ranged firing line into a remarkably durable, heavy infantry block that is more than capable of holding its own in a bloody close-quarters scrum.
