A Tankbusta (pl. Tankbustaz) is an Ork Boy who has become completely addicted to the thrill of destroying the armoured fighting vehicles of his foes. The Tankbustaz’s desire to hunt down and slay the biggest, most dangerous tanks they can find echoes the primal instinct of the big game hunter.
Using components from the Stormboyz metal bitz I am converting some plastic Ork models into Tankbustas. This unit will also have an Ork with a converted Rokkit Launcha.
The middle model has an Orc Warrior shield arm, which I have drilled a hole through the fist. I then cut one of the Stormboyz grenades in half before putting the two halves through the hole and sticking them with superglue.
I start off with a black undercoat and then do all the metallic bitz with a drybrush of tin bitz and chainmail. Skin tones are done in the same manner as my other Orks. Bases are painted Codex Grey.
Using foundation paints to cover this one’s trousers.
