This model is an original Grendel casting from the 1990s, part of a wider range of Egyptian models and scenery.
This model is an original casting from the 1990s.
There are three resin pieces. This is a nice casting, with lots of detail and sculptured weathering.
I gave the model a white undercoat.
I gave the model a basecoat of Citadel Base: Zandri Dust.
As you can see the basecoat did not fully cover the model. I am expecting the shade or wash to cover those details.
I then gave the model a wash of Citadel Shade: Agrax Earthshade. This has really bought out the detail, however there are areas where there was a little too much shade and it has pooled.
This needed a few extra washes to ensure full coverage.
