I am in the process of building a Commando team to fight alongside them. I am also going to use them as UNIT troops for some Doctor Who scenarios that I have been thinking about.
As well as the plastic boxed set I also have a couple of blisters, a Mortar Team and the Vickers MMG Team.
When the Vickers gun couldn’t get a bead on the Boche, the good old 3” mortar was brought into action lobbing its lethal shells high before whistling down to spray shrapnel on those not able to find cover in time. The three inch mortar was used in all theatres by the Commandos and was a reliable and hard hitting weapon.
The 3″ Mortar Team. comes in a blister pack and is made of metal.
